THE IMPROVED FULL-DAY PACKAGE $530 per hunter This hunt includes your choice of: 40 quail OR 24 chukar OR 16 pheasant. Or you may choose *Two bird combinations of: 24 quail, 8 chukar OR 20 quail, 8 pheasant OR 12 chukar, 8 pheasant. A great "Southern Style Lunch" is provided with all Full-Day Packages. THE 4R GAME BIRD HUNT $945 per hunter This packages includes 2 nights lodging, 3 game bird hunts and all meals during your stay. You may choose any combination of birds from our Improved Hunt Package for each of your hunts. Day 1: Arrive in the evening and enjoy dinner. Day 2: Breakfast, Morning Hunt, Lunch, Rest Time, Afternoon Hunt, Dinner Day 3: Breakfast and Morning Hunt and Depart. There is no limit to the number of birds you can harvest at the 4R. This means that you can purchase additional birds or any birds left over from a previous hunt can be taken at no additional charge. *We do allow self guided hunts. Please call or email for pricing. Upland Game Bird Packages and Seasons At the  we hunt quail, pheasants and chukar in their natural settings. Live oak stands, native pastures, fence rows, row crops and creek draws give the upland game bird hunter, of any skill level, a wide variety of cover to hunt.All upland game bird hunting packages include a two- to three-hour hunt, cleaning and packaging of birds, a professional guide and great dogs. Our morning hunt begins at 8:30 and the afternoon hunt at 2:30. WHAT TO BRING? --You will need a valid Texas hunting license. --You are required to wear blaze orange for safetly reasons. --We also recommend safety glasses and ear protection. --Shotguns are available to rent for $15 per half-day or $25 per full day. --We also have shotgun shells, safety glasses, ear protection and blaze orange gear available to purchase. The 2008-2009 game bird hunting season starts October 4th and ends March 29th of 2009. All of our upland game bird hunts begin at "Camp Mary Louise". See the map or call for directions. |
